The IRS, in an effort to assist businesses, has created the ACA Information Center page on their website. Information and resources are featured for employers of all sizes.
Resources for Applicable Large Employers are available, including tools for determining if your business is an ALE. Other materials, links to forms, and FAQs are available as well.
ALEs are required to file annual information, including reporting for each full-time employee and whether coverage was offered, and what coverage was offered. This will begin with 2016 filing.
Important notes about ALE determination is that common ownership affects calculations and that e-filing is required for companies with 250+ employees.
